If you order a shared hosting package from our company and if you use our email services, you will be able to set up anti-spam protection for any of the mailboxes that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With just several mouse clicks, you can choose between 5 different levels of protection. If you start receiving spam, you can begin with the lowest level and then slowly increase the level until you stop receiving spam. We use one of the very best and most popular spam filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It examines the header and the body of every email message that you get and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a specific email message or permits it to enter your mailbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also permit you to create custom spam filters and either get rid of undesirable messages or redirect them to a 3rd-party email address such as spam@domain.com where you can read them once again afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you take advantage of one of our Linux semi-dedicated servers, you won’t need to worry about spam email messages clogging your mailboxes every once in a while, as you can take advantage of the famous SpamAssassin email filter that we provide with each and every account. Our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to activate the filter for any mailbox with a couple of clicks of the mouse and you can select one of the five levels of protection – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any time if, for example, legitimate messages get blocked, or if unsolicited bulk messages go through and reach your inbox. To be on the safe side, you can choose all filtered email messages to be redirected to a special email account such as spam@your-domain.com and not to be erased. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to make certain that you have not omitted an authentic message.
